Organizing Committees
Team Bear is an all-volunteer operation that depends upon people giving of their time, resources and talents.
Everyone chips in, whether it is training to ride, raising money, being a roadie, driving sag wagons, giving massages or being part of the support system.
Putting all of this together is the job of the people on the organizing committees. A select group of guys who bring a special kind of passion and inspiration to this project, committee members really hold the keys to the Team's future and are the guardians of itÕs heritage. They are the taskmasters and the cheerleaders. And it is they who are most responsible for making Team Bear succeed, because if they do their job right then the riders and roadies and supporters of the team can do their part — raising money to fight AIDS.
Team Bear is organized pretty simply. There is a Steering Committee and four sub-committees, each with specific responsibilities.
